What is Al-Furqan Academy?

Al-Furqan Academy is a private, accredited K–12 Islamic school based in Norcross, Atlanta, GA. We offer a powerful blend of Islamic and academic education, helping students succeed in both Dunya and Akhirah.

We don’t just teach. We transform lives through faith, knowledge, and strong community values.

Who do we serve?

We currently educate over 60 students, many from underprivileged families.
✅ 40 students receive tuition support through zakat
✅ 20+ students remain on a waiting list due to lack of funding
✅ Most students are 15 years and older, relying heavily on community support to access quality Islamic education

What programs do we offer?

✅ Accredited K–10 curriculum (expanding to full K–12)
✅ Hifz program integrated with academic studies
✅ Boarding school option in a safe and nurturing environment
✅ Islamic sciences through interactive lessons and group learning
✅ Full focus on both spiritual and intellectual growth

What are we building?

We’re currently raising funds to build:
✅ A chemistry lab to support science education
✅ A playground so our children can grow emotionally and physically

These additions will help us create a complete learning environment where kids thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.

What are we struggling with?

We are running out of space.
Our current building cannot accommodate our growing student body.
Construction is not cost-effective — we need a larger facility.
We also lack funding for teachers, classroom resources, and basic infrastructure.
